KEBONY
Sourced from FSC®-Certified forests, our Kebony® Clear decking is engineered to handle the harshest of conditions. The rich brown color and clear grain are designed to impress, while hardwood-like durability and a 30-year rot & decay warranty provide supreme peace of mind. Whether you maintain the original color or let Kebony Clear naturally patina, your project will amaze for decades to come.
THERMALLY MODIFIED
Thermally modified wood is wood that has been treated using a heat-based process to improve its durability and stability. This treatment involves heating the wood to temperatures typically between 160 to 230 degrees Celsius, in an environment with reduced oxygen, to avoid combustion. The high heat alters the chemical structure of the wood, reducing its susceptibility to moisture and making it more resistant to rot, decay, and fungal attack
IPE
Ipe decking is highly prized for its exceptional durability, strength, and natural resistance to rot, decay, and insect damage. This dense hardwood, originating primarily from South American forests, is one of the toughest decking materials available. It has a fine to medium texture with an attractive rich brown color, which can weather to a silver-gray patina if left untreated. Ipe is so durable that it is often used in commercial applications where longevity and low maintenance are crucial. Its density also makes it highly resistant to scratches and dents. Ipe’s resistance to moisture and natural oils ensure a long lifespan, often exceeding 25 years without significant degradation, even in harsh outdoor environments. This makes ipe a top choice for premium decking.
